Neighborhood by Neighborhood

The City of Miami Beach Planning Board will vote Tuesday, July 28th at 2:00 pm on an ordinance regulating weekly rentals in multi-family neighborhoods.

The Board will have a public hearing to receive input from the community to determine which multi-family neighborhoods will allow weekly rentals and which neighborhoods will prohibit these rentals.

The multi-family weekly rental ordinance provides for regulation of the rentals through licensing and inspections.

Additionally, it safeguards against condo unit owners going outside the rules of their condo docs by requiring approval from condo boards before City licenses will be issued for units in condo buildings.

We encourage you to attend the meeting and advocate to allow weekly rentals in your neighborhood.
It is important that each neighborhood be represented, otherwise, you could lose your right to rent short term.

Please send us an email and let us know if you plan to attend. miamibeachpropertyrights@gmail.com
